Sahakar foundation's "Clean While You Trek" campaign promoted environmental cleanliness and environmental sustainability. Through this campaign, we encouraged hikers and trekkers to take responsibility for keeping the trails and natural surroundings clean by picking up litter and disposing of it properly. As hikers, it is our responsibility to minimize our impact and preserve the environment for future generations. An old-age couple Ms. Narasamma and Mr. Muniyappa were victims of misfortune, found to have lost their humble house and they had taken shelter in a temple nearby, during heavy rains, in a shallow place in Shivamogga. We, along with Yuva Brigade and Sodari Niveditha Pratishtana, helped them build their shelter back.

The teachers of both Schools were felicitated with mementos and saplings were planted in the school premises.
